Meet "Tango", MTF's first foal of 2008. He was foaled April 21. Tango is a sorrel snow-cap appaloosa with

striped hooves. He is a Carousel Designer Legacy son out of CN Angel Kisses, a bay snow-cap mare with a

lovely head. He has a refined head like his sire, and is very leggy! He is a nice show prospect with a distinguished

pedigree or he would make a nice addition to an appaloosa breeding program.

MTF LEGACYS CLOUD NINE

(7 August, 2007 AMHA #182018)

Cloud is our last foal for the 2007 season. His diminutive size surprised us given that his sire is Legacy and his dam is 30" tall. He is the same size as our foal by Scout, Oreo. They both had 6" canon bones which predicts their height at maturity at 26"-28". His coloring is a very light grey- much like Shadow's (scroll down to see info on Shadow below)... and Shadow has turned into a lovely silver dapple. Cloud is for sale. Offered at

Foaled on April 3, 2007, Shadow is a handsome and correct silver grey colt with striped hooves by Carousel Designer Legacy out of L & Ks My Perfect Storm. His color turns into a champagne color but clips back to grey. He has a few prominent dark grey spots, but we are finding more little spots each day. Shadow has an upright head, level back and nice long legs. Will probably mature at 32". Playful and friendly. He has excellent conformation and is very showy. Sired by Toyland Bright Image, a 29" leopard appaloosa out of a lovely 29" sorrel mare Raymundos Ria, Cera was black at birth but now has frosting all over. Cera is not a "cull". We have too many horses right now, and we have decided to keep some of Legacy's fillies,so we must reduce our herd in order to make room for them. Cera is correct, has a good bite, she is sweet and well mannered. Cera is currently bred to MTFs few-spot appaloosa stud, Snakecharmer for a spring 2008 foal. Teeny bay colt by Scouts Excellent Secret (our 28" sorrel blanketed appy stud) out of MTF sierra Moon Trotter ("Luna"- a blue roan appy). We named him Scouts Lunar Rain Spirit ("SPYRO" for short). Spyro had a 6" canon bone at birth, so his projected height at maturity will be around 26 inches! He is so cute we are tempted to keep him (if we just didn't have too many boys!) The amazing thing is that he is so well-proportioned and correct for such a little horse- long legs, refined body, nice head and neck! AMHA registered.

MTF Legacys Smokey Bandit

BANDIT is our first Legacy foal! He is the product of strong leopard appaloosa genes from his sire and his coloring is very similar to that of his dam at birth- a bay snowcap! He has Legacy's proud bearing and his dam's pretty head. Bandit has the phenotype that throws spots, so appaloosa breeders take note! He has a pedigree to die for: aside from his multi-champion sire, Francisco of Kilverstone appears on three of his lines (Legacy is double bred and his dam, is a maternal granddaughter) as well as, of course, Menelek.
